How Sinistcha plays
Sinistcha is the bulk control point most teams build around. Heatproof halves Fire damage, which neutralises the Sun and Charizard archetypes that otherwise pressure a Trick Room or balance team. Hospitality heals the partner up to twenty-five percent, and Prankster on the secondary ability lets status-control happen through speed control rather than against it.
The standard set runs Matcha Gotcha for healing-and-damage in one turn, Calm Mind for late-game setup, Trick Room as the speed-control ace, and Strength Sap or Pollen Puff as the supporting finisher. Counterplay is structural. Knock Off removes the Leftovers, Taunt cancels Trick Room and Calm Mind both, and any spread move into Sinistcha plus its partner does enough damage that the heal from Matcha Gotcha cannot keep pace. Sinistcha that gets isolated and Taunted is no longer a threat.
